HOSPO (Hope Social Protection Organization) is a non-profit, non-political NGO dedicated to the promotion of security, human rights, and the alleviation of poverty within the Somali community.
Established in October 2021 by a collective of Somali scholars, HOSPO was born out of a necessity to address escalating insecurity and other prevalent concerns such as human rights violations and food scarcity.
Our organization is steadfast in its mission to enhance the welfare of the Somali people through comprehensive humanitarian support, engaging with local communities, institutions, and individuals in need throughout Somalia.

Our Passion
HOSPO is deeply concerned with the disproportionate adversities faced by women and children, who often endure humiliation, torture, and other violations of human dignity. In response, we have dedicated our efforts to eradicating these injustices and improving the lives of those affected by drought and conflict, particularly focusing on the disenfranchised women and children.
We are actively seeking compassionate individuals and organizations to partner with us in our quest to deliver essential services such as healthcare, childcare, clean water, safe environments, and quality education. Furthermore, we are committed to ending systemic violence and promoting equality and justice for all, irrespective of gender, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status.
Vision
HOSPO envisions a society where children, women, and individuals with disabilities are safeguarded against harm and their suffering is mitigated. Our aim is to uphold and restore human dignity and rights for the most vulnerable.
Mission
Our mission is to empower the vulnerable by affirming their human rights and putting an end to the abuse and mistreatment they face. Through our initiatives, we seek to foster community development, educate on the value of peace and harmony, and empower the youth with strategic goals for building a resilient community and instilling hope for a successful future.

- Raising awareness about reproductive health issues, including the opposition to female genital mutilation (FGM)
